Stefan Miedl

Stefan Miedl has been working in the field of intellectual property since 2004 and advises domestic and foreign clients on all patent law issues. He specializes in particular in the fields of medical technology, mechanical and industrial engineering, electrical engineering, and automation technology. He also gained five years of experience in industry as a process and development engineer.

Stefan Miedl's legal practice focuses on patent law, in particular on grant proceedings before the German Patent and Trademark Office and the European Patent Office as well as before foreign patent offices in cooperation with corresponding attorneys-at-law, mainly in the fields of medical technology, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering.

Stefan Miedl has extensive knowledge of the deposition and characterization of thin films of high temperature superconductors, compound semiconductors, metallic thin films and dielectrics due to his studies and his work at Aixtron AG. In the course of his work as a Patent Attorney, he also acquired detailed knowledge in the fields of automotive technology, in particular automotive and electric vehicles, automation technology, optics, sensor technology, as well as image and signal processing.
